Expand Your Creative Self

I stand aware in my body,

I am connected with my breath,

I am present with all my sensations, feelings and images,

I witness myself here and now.

Bridging Life & Art

Intention

My intention is to guide children, adults, and adolescents to gather self-healing resources through their awareness and insight using a creative approach, irrespective of the skills or background. This work is for anyone who would like to step deeper into their purpose, enhance creativity, and connect to the present moment by processing the inner and outer world through the creation of different art forms.

Area of focus

I focus on a number of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, behavioural problems, developmental delays, stress, grief, self-esteem, and life transitions, going deeper to discover yourself, tapping into your awareness to expand life support resources. Also working with cancer and brain injury, emotional and physical challenges of a brain or nervous system diagnosis, and heart surgery survivors.

Expressive Arts & Somatic Therapy

I work with my clients using the Tamalpa Life/Art Process, originated by the American dancer Anna Halprin and her daughter Daria Halprin, a master in the field of expressive art therapy.

The approach promotes the use of creative mediums (writing, drawing, music-making, singing, moving) to facilitate awareness, insight, and change.

I am using the work for myself and my clients, I acknowledge the clarity and perspective I gather through tamalpa tools and techniques. The awareness of the physical, emotional, and mental body grounds day to day experiences in my life. I have learned to embrace my life, breathing in the awareness to breathe out challenges willingly. Tamalpa life/art process focuses on the embodied approach. The work believes that physical, emotional, and mental attunement and alignment let the individual grow closer to fulfilling their potential as human beings.
