I stand aware in my body,
I am connected with my breath,
I am present with all my sensations, feelings and images,
I witness myself here and now.
My intention is to support individuals of all ages — children, teenagers, adults, and older adults, in building inner resources through awareness, insight, and creative expression, regardless of background or artistic experience.
This work is for anyone who wants to connect more deeply with themselves, explore their purpose, expand creativity, and stay present. Through different art forms, we make space to engage with both the inner and outer world, allowing new perspectives, expression, and connection to emerge.
I work with a range of mental health challenges- anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, behavioural problems, developmental delays, stress, grief, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. My focus is on going deeper: discovering yourself, tapping into awareness, and expanding your inner resources for support.
I also work with people living with cancer, brain injury, or a diagnosis affecting the brain or nervous system, as well as those recovering from heart surgery. The emotional and physical weight of these experiences is real, and I meet it with care and presence.
My approach is trauma-focused, grounded in safety, honesty, and deep listening, holding space for what’s difficult while helping you reconnect with what’s alive and possible.
My work is grounded in the client-centered principles of Carl Rogers and the expressive arts framework developed by Natalie Rogers. I work with the Tamalpa Life/Art Process®, a body-based expressive arts approach developed by American dancer Anna Halprin and her daughter Daria Halprin, a pioneer in the field of expressive arts therapy.
This approach integrates movement, drawing, writing, voice, and embodied awareness to support emotional insight, personal expression, and mind-body integration. I use these tools with my clients and in my own life, and I deeply value the clarity and perspective they offer.
Through the Tamalpa tools and practices, I’ve learned to connect with the awareness of my physical, emotional, and mental body, an awareness that grounds my daily experiences. This process has helped me embrace life more fully, learning to breathe in awareness and breathe out challenges with greater willingness.
At its heart, the Tamalpa Life/Art Process is an embodied approach. It rests on the understanding that aligning and attuning the body, heart, and mind can bring us closer to realising our full potential as human beings.
